GGMO ENLISTMENT
The Army Values
The army is an essential part of every kingdom or Nation to protect and in some rare situations, maintain law and order. However, in certain circumstances are deployed to invade enemy territories. There are essential values that form the fundamental beliefs and actions of a general and are learnt and developed during basic training at CELL level of the ministry. Highly trained generals who live by these values which are Integrity, Selfless Service, Duty, Loyalty, Respect and Personal Courage are ready to be deployed anywhere at any time for the work of the ministry. These seven Core values described below makes a general of Christ combat ready for operations.
LOYALTY
Total devotion and commitment to a Nation, Kingdom, Cause, Group or Person makes you loyal. Bearing unwavering faith and allegiance to the GGMO constitution, its army, your unit and other generals of Christ is fundamental to being a loyal general. A loyal general is one who selflessly supports the leadership and is also a Son of Consolation or Encouragement (Acts 4:36) to other generals. By your confession of the Lordship of Jesus and demonstrating your total commitment to GGMO and its structures, you are expressing your loyalty.
RESPECT
Respect is summed up in this verse, Mat. 7:12, ‘’So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, …..’’. In the Soldier’s Code, we pledge to treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same. Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. The army of GGMO is one team and each one of us has something to contribute.
HONOR
Honor is simply carrying out, acting and living the seven Core values of the ministry Army in everything you do. There different categories and levels of honor meted out to a general but the ministry’s highest award which is awarded by the president of GGMO and called ‘’The medal of honor’’ is awarded to generals who have endeavoured to achieve ministry objectives both individually and collectively over a long period of time.
PERSONAL COURAGE
Rev 12:11, ‘’……., for they loved not their lives unto themselves’’. Face fear, danger or adversity at all times as a general because we have been commanded to be strong and courageous. Personal courage has long been associated with the Army of Jesus Christ. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical duress and at times risking personal safety. Facing moral fear or adversity may be a long, slow process of continuing forward on the right path, especially if taking those actions is not popular with others. You can build your personal courage by daily standing up for and acting upon the word of God.
DUTY
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory for: for necessity if laid upon me;…..1 Cor. 9:16. The duty of a soldier of Christ goes beyond the ability to successfully complete your assigned task. It is you being able to accomplish tasks as part of a team. The work of the ministry , GGMO is a complex combination of missions, tasks and responsibilities which involves building one assignment on the other through collective cooperation. Complete fulfilment of your obligations or duty can be achieved when you continually resist the temptation to take short cuts that might undermine the integrity of the final outcome.
SELFLESS SERVICE
Put the welfare of the ministry, the army and other generals before your own in living selflessly. To render selfless service to the ministry is serving loyally without thought of recognition or gain. For greater love has no man than this, that he lays down his life for his friends (1 John 15:13) kjv. The foundation of selflessness is the commitment of each team member to go a little further, endure a little longer, and look a little closer to see how he or she can add to the collective effort.
INTEGRITY
Always upholding what is good, uprightness, sincerity, justice and truth in whatsoever you do. For better is the poor who is blameless than the rich who is perverse (Pr. 28:6). Integrity is a quality developed through strict adherence to the undefiled word of God over a period of time. It requires that your intentions, thoughts and actions are not cunning in bending situations to your advantage. As your integrity grows, so does the trust others place in you. The more choices you make based on integrity, the more this highly prized value will affect your relationships with family and friends, and, finally, the fundamental acceptance of yourself. Everyone in the army of Christ walks in integrity.
Ranger Creed
Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the details of my appointment, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of the Rangers.
Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite Soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by any means. I accept the fact that as a Ranger, the church (GGMO) expects me to move further, faster and commit more than any other Soldier.
Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some.
Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well-trained Soldier. My courtesy to superior generals, upholding my faith and care of the brethren will set the example for others to follow.
Powerfully will I fight our enemies and I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might because we wrestle against demons in high places. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my church.
Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission though I be dispatched alone.
Rangers lead the way!
